Together, we’ll break down the elements of a nonfiction proposal, while also brainstorming some early schema for proposals to help sell your own work. You do not ned have a finished non fiction work, or even a fully-realized idea, in order to participate and glean a lot from this workshop. Working on a proposal offers the writer the rare chance to offer a bird’s-eye view of their own work. During this session, we’ll look at a couple of book proposals, see what they have in common, see how they differ and start considering how best to move forward with your own.
